Most kids like pizza. For a kid growing up in Chicago, who also loved to cook, it was LIFE. Lorri’s memories of John’s in Calumet City and Aurelio’s in Homewood have left impressions on her to this day. The warmth, the feeling as if you were eating in someone’s home, and extraordinary pizza are something Lorri wants to share with everyone! Helping others create similar, special memories inspired her to develop her own tavern-style crust.
For those who haven’t tried this type of pizza before, it is thin, crispy, cheesy, cut into little squares, and unbelievably addictive. It will have you standing up in the kitchen eating it while you’re thinking of which little square piece of love you’re going to pounce on next.
Our dough recipe was developed using time-honored techniques and high-quality ingredients. It requires several days of rest to achieve its delicate flavor and texture. This is why we have a limited supply and offer pre-orders only. Each pie is hand-shaped, so they won’t be perfectly round, but they WILL be perfectly delicious.
